Our experience with this company is overwhelmingly negative.This company represents that they provide legal advice and legal documents for wills and trusts. We were not informed that the person we initially meet to discuss our personal information to be conveyed in a last will and testament WAS NOT AN ATTORNEY. He is in sales! The two attorneys featured on the company website nor any other attorney met with us.When we found numerous mistakes and omissions to the will and trust documents, the legal aids insisted we couldn’t speak to the attorneys since the aids make all changes. What attorney’s office tells you that you can only interact with their legal aids? Isn’t a licensed attorney responsible for the preparation of all legal documents? Who is responsible for the accuracy of these critical documents?How do you receive legal advice about the preparation of trusts and wills from someone who has not passed the California bar? After feeling utterly foolish, we wrote this review to help others not make the same mistake.Our recommendation is to be aware of this bait and switch tactic used by this company. When you are asked to show identification to verify who you are, ask to see the same from the individual asking you.

American Legal Documents is a firm of high priced paralegals (not lawyers) that create expensive “legal” documents without hesitation, without ethics and without doing research into the customers they serve. You might need a real attorney to undo the legal mess they create.
