I hired Roy about a year ago when I was in the middle of litigation. Roy was extremely professional, attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable. I had been searching for a great divorce attorney for A few months and interviewing many attorneys. I read many reviews and had a meeting with Damon Forney. He is highly educated attorney, he answered all my questions thoroughly he gave me a great understanding of the whole divorce procedure and what is required. I decided he was the one to represent me. My wife had a very good attorney so I wanted to make sure I hired someone Who could represent me and dominate.Damon did an awesome job with communicating with me and the other attorney making sure everything was in order and filed in a timely manner. Then there is his paralegal Diane. She is very knowledgeable of the law, easy to work with very efficient and clear on what you need and gives you a list of what she needs from you and makes it very manageable for you. She also makes you write what she calls a Starbucks letter. The Starbucks Letter is a letter from me telling her the beginning of my marriage until how we got to the point where at now so she can understand me better and where we are at.The letter really makes you think about your life and what you’ve been through and think if this is really the right decision for you.In my case during the divorce I had a severe injury and my wife took care of me and helped me get through it. After writing the Starbucks letter I realized all we’ve been through our my life and that we still have a chance to work on our marriage so we decided to try one more time and end the divorce process. My experience with Damon Forney and his paralegal Diane was excellent. They are both very knowledgeable of the law and are in your corner and fight for you as their top priority. They give you great advice and their fees are clear and fair. I love their billing each month you get a statement showing your balance what was charged and what the expense was. I highly recommend the office of Attorney Doppelt and Forney for family law matters. I have had a positive experience so far. In the past, I have had bad experiences with family law attorneys. I appointed attorney Forney as my attorney just over a month ago. This was just before a series of critical court dates. The biggest positives are that the firm has competent staff and they work as a team. They met fast-approaching deadlines in a timely manner. The staff is engaged and will do what it takes to get it done. I was able to communicate with the staff and have my issues addressed in and out of court. They have given me hope that my rights will be defended.

I am not a review type of person, but the team at Doppelt and Forney deserve every credit. I was divorced in 2019 and had numerous problems stemming from it. My lawyer at the time could not handle the chaos that was following me. I found Damon Forney online and scheduled an appointment. Immediately I was impressed by his professionalism, caring towards my situation, and expertise on the different options that were available to me. My mother and I instantly felt a relief knowing Damon was there to help us. It was no easy task for this firm. My mother and I needed restraining orders. I needed emergency custody orders, and expert advice concerning the safety of my children and how to end this nasty divorce. While Damon was battling at the front lines, we had sweet lead paralegal Dianne in background to help guide us through the process. Dianne was always there making sure we and my ex’s lawyer were filing everything correctly and on time. Dianne was our cheerleader before the court hearings, and the motherly comfort check in after the hearing. You can really tell she takes her clients well-being personally. Amazing lawyer and equally good human being. Very level headed. My divorce was very bitter in the beginning, due to a very conflicting lawyer my ex had hired initially. There were some tough times, but every time I spoke to Roy I was reassured, I was in safe hands. There is nothing the divorce process can throw at you that Roy has not already seen. I recently went through a tough battle with my ex-husbands foster parents. They took me to court under false pretenses and somehow we made it all the way to an evidentiary hearing in San Diego. I found Roy on Google because he had a ton of great reviews and called him immediately. He listened to my situation and didnt charge me for the consultation although it was a lengthy conversation. He was so easy to work with and very flexible. I live in Washington State so most of our contact was via email. I always had quick responses, everything he did I was kept aware of, they sent me a copy of everything that was submitted for court, I got my statements every month for what I was being charged for (attorneys are expensive but it was worth every penny in the end), and he was always friendly and reassuring. This was over a period of about 7 months. Fast forward to the hearing, Roy is the attorney you want on your side. He argued my points aggressively but he is so charismatic it didnt come off that way, he still came off very friendly in court. Needless to say, he did a fantastic job ensuring my rights were protected and we WON my case. Now I can move on with my life and thanks to Roy, I can continue to parent my child how I see fit without any outside interference like Ive been doing all these years.

Going through the divorce and custody process in the Family Court System is not easy. For me, it has been like fighting an uphill battle because of additional obstacles manifested in the form of a long drawn out divorce and custody. My previous attorney did not have my best interest in mind. He did not work to resolve any issues for me for 2 years, but incurred high legal fees for me monthly and exacerbated an already difficult process.Rescue came in the form of Roy Doppelt, my present attorney. Roy is an excellent attorney who is a man of integrity who operates with grace and professionalism in the court room and never becomes frustrated or critical of the case or sometimes dysfunctional system that family court exists in. 10/15/2013I just finished working with Roy Doppelt on a most unusual and complex Family Law case. My brother passed away almost two years ago and I am the only living member of his immediate family. He did not leave a will. In the middle of probate his X wife surfaced from Germany and started a case in which she was claiming rights to his estate. As to why she was able to fight this, is a long story. The important thing is that Mr. Doppelt was such a great help to me and this case. Honestly, any time legal is involved there is always a sense of uneasiness and uncertainty. From the first meeting with Damon he was great gave me a few pointers for legal advice as well as personal advise of how to cope with the issues. When things came down to the line Dianne did a lot of the coordinating with myself, one thing I appreciated was that no matter my mood she was calm and collected and could help ease my mind. A shorter list would be what they did wrong. It would be non existant! Doppelt and Forney have made a huge impact on my life. Without them I wouldnt be me again. I could not be happier with everything about this law office. From the secretaries and legal aids to the lawyers and even the office environment, I felt like I had chosen the right place to get help with my custody/support problems from the moment I walked in. Everyone was very kind, professional, attentive and intelligent. Much like anything else, things of high quality tend to cost more, so the fees and retainers were higher, but I have no regrets or remorse for what I paid for considering how fair, open and honest they were. The lawyers and staff have shown that every penny was worth it. I was helped by Damon Forney and Jessica Boshears (forgive if I spelled that wrong!) and very highly recommend them to anyone needing help with family law issues of any kind. The attorneys are demonstrably and obviously competent.The location is a bit tricky: theyre behind the McDonalds and on the upstairs facing the freeway and the McDonalds come over on the corner up on top.
