I was referred to Michael by a friend as she enjoyed working with him. I was involved in a three-car accident, and I called immediately after to ask for the next steps on what to do. He gave me clear instructions, and I felt empowered knowing I had someone on my side. After that, I never spoke with anyone else other than Michael, as he had all the necessary conversations with all involved parties for me. I used my chiropractor to provide therapy, which made me feel in control of my case. Michael was always straightforward and clear on what needed to be done. M convinced that if you looked throughout the entire state of California, you would not find a better PI attorney then Michael Waks. In the summer of 2018, my elderly father was involved in an automobile accident. He sustained multiple serious and life threatening injuries and I knew we were going to need help. Im always a little skeptical when a business has ALL 5 stars and glowing reviews, but in Michael Waks case, its all true! I was in a hit and run motorcycle accident here in Long Beach. The driver made an egregiously illegal turn into me resulting in a broken tibia and fibula. It was so bad I had surgery a day later. I wasnt sure what to do so I looked around for a bit and ended up at Mr. Waks office. The experience was a lot better than I expected - hes got a lot of integrity and I felt comfortable. He worked with my insurance company and the hospital for a payoff of the $88,000 surgery bill. For that Ill always be incredibly grateful.Edit: It has been some time later and Mr. Waks has additionally been able to square away more compensation for me. He says it’s just his job, but I feel like he really went above and beyond. I lost all my savings and more in the hit and run because the police couldn’t find the person who just left me.
