I reached out to Mission after suffering severe injuries to both ankles after a high fall. Hi I am Darrel Hicks Jr and I had a recent claim with Mr. Brock and Mission Legal Services after me and my dad were involved in a car accident. I was learning how to drive at the age of 17 and got into an accident that was clearly not my fault. This accident had an impact on my life that required physical therapy, missed my basketball season, and mental health therapy. I was having a hard time resuming to learn how to drive again. I was afraid that me and my dad were going to have the same fate as my friend and his dad in which his dad died and my friend injured his back. This was a frustrating time for me and my dad. Mr. Brock and Mission Legal started to represent us and our claim. They fully supported me participating in physical therapy and mental health therapy. As a young male teen, it was hard to talk to about what happened to the firm only bc i didnt want to seem like a baby that needed therapy because I couldnt get over wanting to drive again. However, Mr. Brock and the Mission Legal team listened to me when I provided them information, they didnt judge me, and they were super supportive of what I was going through as a teenager. They allowed me to take my time in therapy and they made me feel like my well being was very important to them. This allowed me to continue on with my therapy and not feel rushed to get better. Not only were they concerned about my physical health, me returning to my normal way of life of playing sports, and learning how to drive again without having any fear, they also wanted to make sure that I received a fair financial settlement for what had happened to me. Mission legal is the place to go for any of your personal injury cases! My husband was in a car accident which resulted in a hit and run with no witnesses, David Muñoz was able to retract the accident and get a case out of it! My husband was able to get medically treated properly and have his normal life back. Not only were the attorneys at mission legal able to help us throughout our journey but the staff is awesome. MISSION LEGAL IS AMAZING!!Let me start by saying, every single car accident is traumatic. Even if it is just a fender bender. I, however, did not have a little fender bender. My accident was the totaled car, go to the emergency room, have a concussion in the middle moving to Texas type of thing. Like literally, I was moving my storage unit across the country that day when the other driver illegally turned in front of me. Without a car I ended up having to fly to Texas and sell all my stuff to not delay my schedule. I did this while injured and concussed. Without Cassandra I could not have done it. Even though I moved from California to Texas there was not a moment where I felt I needed someone closer to home. Each associate I spoke with at Mission Personal Injury knew about who I was, what I needed, and treated me with the utmost respect. If I had a question I would text or call, and they would get back to me right away. Cassandra is my girl. She was so nice and incredibly organized. I never had to deal with the insurance company. Not once. I hope I never have an accident again but if it does, I know I am covered.

David was a great attorney. He was very easy to get ahold of, updated me often, and ultimately fought the case in my best interest. He did not let up even though the case went on for a couple years. He could have easily said just end it and take what you can and move on, but he didnt. I could not say anything better about his staff. They were kind and welcoming every time I came in the office. I also ended up moving to the east coast during my lawsuit and he made sure everything was transparent and easy dealing with documents and phone meetings even across the country.

I was hit by a drunk driver back in 2012. My insurance covered my car and went after his insurance for damages to the vehicle, but since it was the drunk drivers fault, my insurance wouldnt cover my pain and suffering. They said I had to go after his insurance to cover medical and for pain and suffering. I was getting the run-around from his insurance company. David is a friend of mine and also an attorney, so I called him to get some advice and find out if it is anything their law firm can assist me with. He said they could absolutely take my case with nothing up front. They rapidly got things in motion as I got immediate medical care. I could have asked for David to go hard core after the guy since it was a clear cut case. They left it completely up to me and didnt allow greed to navigate their counsel. I was warmly welcomed in their office from day one and they made sure to extend that warmth throughout the process. It was bad enough being rear ended while sitting at a red light, but what made it worse was insurance companies calling me, asking for recorded statements. Mission legal center makes the phone calls stop, they make the past due medical bills stop, and they make sure that you are able to find the care you need for your injuries. The insurance companies are a for profit business, so when you are injured, you need someone on your side like the Munoz Family at Mission Legal Center. I ended up moving away from the San Diego area, and working with mission legal center was still a breeze. They made sure to follow up with me every few weeks, and ask how my treatment was going. We were able to communicate effectively and efficiently. For those that are busy and cant always get to a phone or fax machine, they communicate very well through email. Reaching out to Mission Legal Center was critical to my healing process. They were able to handle my case for me, so that I could focus on my recovery. They were able to get just over the max for the defendants insurance coverage, as a settlement without trial. After they took their percentage of the settlement, ALL of my bills were paid out and they even negotiated some of the bills lower. Finally, there was a remaining balance from the settlement, and they sent me a check for that amount. Not only did they handle all the bill paying for me, but they broke down all of the costs and bills in a way I could understand, and answered all of my questions. If you ever get injured, seek medical attention first and contact Mission Legal as soon as possible after. It is recommended that you NOT speak to the insurance companies until you get representation.
