I just spent the last 8 months working with a team of caring, compassionate, relatable women for my personal injury claim. Brief background: I was hit by a car while riding my bike to work. The driver pulled out of a parallel parking space without looking and was completely at fault. Initially, he and the others in the car were very concerned, but ghosted us afterwards and made up a story in order to not take on the blame. I ended up needing surgery and costs mounted, so I sought legal advice. After much research, I settled on Sally Morin Law. The team at this law firm is invested and responsive in a very personable way. I specifically worked with Carmen and Annie. Carmen took the lead and she answered every email, text, and annoying question my husband and I sent her way. She wrote a detailed demand letter that personalized my case and thoroughly explained the impact the accident had on my life, my childrens lives, and my husbands life. In the end, our own insurance policy covered the claim to the fullest amount. Additionally, Carmen was able to negotiate the medical lien to $0, and my husband received a separate smaller amount for loss of consortium. We are more than happy with the results as it’s way beyond what we expected, and completely life changing. We didnt proceed with the case thinking we would have the outcome we did, and almost didnt pursue the case. My only regret in my experience working with Sally Morin law firm is that I didnt contact them sooner. I was hit by a car in late 2019 and was so overwhelmed with my physical recovery that it took me a while to realize I needed help with handling the different parties that could lay claim to settlement money. After a very helpful phone consultation, they were able to take everything off of my plate and to deal with the insurance companies, calls from lawyers from my health insurance and billing agencies - it was a huge relief. They also very accurately represented what was possible with my case, and I was very satisfied with what they were able to achieve in my case so that I could recoup my losses. I suffered a fractured pelvis and wrist related to the lack of a hand railing in a San Francisco apartment I was renting on October 4, 2019. I had no intention of seeking out personal injury legal counsel on this matter until a friend urged me to speak to Sally Morin eight months after the accident. I initially felt like accidents happen and I was recovering and had moved on. In any event, I took my friends advice and reached out to Sally. She made me feel okay about seeking damages for the ordeal that I had been through: two major orthopedic surgeries, a lengthy stay at a physical rehab center, 15 months of physical therapy learning to walk again, and a lot of pain and suffering.Sally Morin and her team made the part that I had to play in my case close to effortless. I got in a bike accident where a driver made an illegal u-turn and hit me. Lawyers, for the most part, get a bad wrap.But not these folks.In 2020, my partner was rear-ended in a parking low. It didnt seem like a big deal but we quickly realized that there was damage to the knee because of the accident. Navigating medical care during the worst of COVID was difficult but they were always very helpful. Throughout the course of my partners case, it was always easy to get ahold of the attorney (Annie); she was always kind and respectful. OMG! I thought injury lawyers were not necessary or useful. I mean, in this day and age you can practically represent yourself for a low cost or free. I researched multiple firms and lawyers to vet their credibility and reputation. I found most of them seek a good case they can win to get a better payout. Because they dont get paid unless you do, right? Well, I found a particularly interesting firm. I was involved in an accident that resulted in a totaled vehicle and broken bones with an incredibly high hospital price tag. I explained the situation to the representative I worked with. She definitely did all she could to help me get the most out a minimum limits insurance policy.Initially my case seemed pretty straight forward. I had the walk light and the woman who hit me admitted fault. It never occurred to me that my medical bills might not get covered. Unfortunately the woman who hit me had a minimum limits policy. I was hit by a van while riding my bike on a charity ride. It was a terrible crash and could have easily been fatal but I was lucky to only suffer a broken ankle. This was a bad injury which required surgery and four screws. There was no question the other party was at fault. I had witnesses, pictures and a highway patrol report all in my favor.After speaking with a couple of other attorneys on the phone and meeting one in person, I realized it was difficult to find a good lawyer. My brother found Sally on Yelp and after talking with her on the phone I was confident she could handle my case and get the best settlement possible. Sally took care of everything. She settled all my bills, negotiated with the medical insurance, got the limits from the other party’s insurance for liability and property and also got the limit from my own uninsured auto coverage. I was not even aware my auto insurance covered me on my bike. On top of all this she discounted her own fees. In the end I got the most I could have hoped for given the insurance limits and my expenses were significantly reducedI highly recommend Sally.

In 2013 I was seriously hit by a car while biking in San Francisco. While lying in the hospital I picked Sallys name out of a list of lawyers recommended by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, and Im so glad I did!Sally, Lauren and Janai were a pleasure to work with while I negotiated the difficult emotional, physical, and legal aspects of my case. Some time ago I was run over by a car, on the sidewalk no less by a woman who confused her pedals. I ended up with a torn ACL, fractured knee... I had just found out my wife was pregnant, and we were in the middle of moving out of the city. Even though the woman who ran me over had minimal insurance coverage, far too small to cover the entire medical costs, Sally managed to negotiate with my insurance company to get them to reduce their costs by more than 2/3ds. I was hit by a car while riding my bike and at a loss for what to do since Id just moved to the area less than a year prior. I think if I hadnt found Sallys office, I would have had much more difficulty tending to my injuries while staying in school and pursuing my PI case.Since I was new to the area, I didnt know where I could easily go for things like PT and X-rays, and recommendations from Sallys office were extremely helpful. Also, with Lauren on my case, communication when needed was easy and very clear. I liked that I could communicate with her by e-mail or even text, so that I had a record of interaction and could reference a conversation if I needed to.I also appreciated them keeping track of bills, making it easy for me when my settlement came in. I was involved in a motorcycle accident last year that left me in pretty rough shape, I needed surgery and a lot of rehab which Im still doing a year later. Needless to say it was alot to handle. I strongly recommend working with Rebecca Taylor and Sally Morin Law! I was hit by a vehicle this past summer while riding my bike to work, where my leg and ankle were badly broken. I had to undergo surgery where a plate and multiple screws were put into my leg. As a runner, I knew I was in for a difficult year ahead, but Rebecca was by far the best lawyer I could have asked for during that time. A driver changed lanes into me while riding my motorcycle and ground me into the center median. Annie was a huge help and offered a lot of free advice which allowed me be sure I was making the right moves after the accident. Unfortunately the driver was under-insured and we were unable to find any secondary coverage that might pay damages. He also had no money or property. You cant squeeze blood from a stone. I started working with Annie Heller and she promptly took on my case of auto/pedestrian accident. I am not a litigious person at all, and would not previously have given thought to hiring a personal injury attorney. However, after being struck by a car as a pedestrian while walking across a crosswalk with the right of way, sustaining injuries and requiring ambulance transport to SFGH for emergency medical care, I expected a fair offer from the drivers insurance company afterwards. Instead, they provided an insultingly lowball offer barely above the cost of medical expenses, and after a short period it became clear that negotiating with them on my own would be futile.
